Content

Student enhances his/her professional competencies further in alignment with curriculum and in the context of the operational environments of sports or wellness coaching. Student is an active, goal-oriented and responsible employee in his/her practical placement. He/she acts according to the values and rules of the work community. Primarily the student will practise in the exercise, sports and wellness facilities in the Rovaniemi and Lapland area. Student pursues to contribute to the development activities of the placement organisations.

Assessment

Fail /Approved

Student does not meet the professional competence goals defined in the curriculum and the practical placement supervisor/employer cannot approve the practice. Student enhances his/her

professional competencies as defined in the curriculum and the placement supervisor/employer recommends the practical training to be approved.

Student is a passive member in development tasks, working groups and networks. His/her conduct is not in accordance with the rules and values of the work community.

Student is an active and goal-oriented member of the development tasks, working groups and networks. He/she acts according to the rules and values of the work community.

Student does not hand in the practical training report or the report is not written according to the Lapland UAS guidelines. The description of the competences on educational or personal level is not adequate. Student has written his/her report according to the guidelines of the Lapland UAS with an appropriate description of the realisation of the practical training and acquired competences on both the curriculum and personal level.
