Competence Goals:

By completing this course the student perceives the concept of human behavior and theimpact an illness has on the behavior of an individual. The student is aware of the selection of support systems that the society offers and knows the benefits the patients are entitled to in reference to various ailments and illnesses. The student perceives and recognizes the foundations of holistic health and wellbeing and what they mean in the life span of clients from different age groups.


Assessment criteria  
Pedagogical arrangements

During the week 38 introduction to course ; content of the course and evaluation,timetable, assignment, exam. , 4 hours seminar in the middle of the course and 8 hours seminar at the end of the course; presentation of assignments.The assignment will be given at the beginning of the course.


Recovery and rehabilitation, the selection of support systems in society;KELA. The holistic health and wellbeing in different age groups.


grade: 1-2: student shows that she/he understand the main content and conceps of the course. They name fenomenas , but can´t unite different parts to each other. They use 1-2 references in their assignments.

3-4 Student can analize and use different theoretical references in their speech and writings. They give exaples . They use min. 5 references in their texts and reports.They combine/connect theory to practice.

5 . Student use many (more than five)references and are critical in an use of sources. They reflect the reality and give new innovations as examle to reality. They motivate their choises.
