Student is able to distinguish HRM as a function in an organization as well as the tasks and aims of HRM. He/she is able to distinguish the role of leadership role in an organisation andis able to apply leadership skills in different business situations. He/she knows the main content of the sector’s essential labour legislation and collective agreements and can apply them. He/she knows the basics of pay-roll activities and understands the reporting process..

Assessment criteria




Studentis able to demonstrate basic theoretical knowledge about HRM discipline. Student is able to demonstrate the basic knowledge about existing leadership theories. Student can list main duties and rights of an employer and employee. With assistance s/he can solve employment and labour law cases. He/she can list main duties of pay-roll and reporting.

Student is able to distinguish main HRM functions and define aims of HRM. Student is able to critically analyse various leadership schools and theories. Student is able to demonstrate by using examples the main duties and rights of an employer and employee and pay-roll functions and reporting. Student can solve cases independently.

Studentis able to apply various HRM functions and tools in people management process. Studentis able to critically analyse various leadership schools and theories is able to apply leadership knowledge in personal development and various school and business tasks. Student understands the meaning of legal factors in the field of employment and labour law in an organization. Student can foresee and solve legal and pay-roll linked problems.
