Objectives

Studentunderstands financial management basic concepts as well as legislation governing financial management. They know how to utilise financial information for business decision-making. They know accounting principles and have competence to establish a small business, do accounting, and compile an income statement and balance sheet using electronic financial management software. Students are familiar with value-added tax and are familiar with the VAT taxation procedure. Students are able to evaluate a company's financial and operational performance Student is able to apply business mathematics and statistical methods.He/she is able to apply ICT applications needed for daily business operations

Student knows the basic economic and financial analysis concepts and is able to use business mathematics and statistical methods with assistance. Students understand the supportive function of ICT for Business and are able to apply ICT programs.

Student can make an economic and financial analysis with assistance and is able to apply business mathematics and statistical methods independently. Students are able to use different ICT programs to support business operations.

Student canindependently use the economic and financial analysis concepts and is able to critically evaluate chosen method.Students can use ICTeffectivily to promote business.

Fail:

The student does not complete the assignments according to instructions or does not attend the learning situations at all. He/she does not pass the assignments and/or the exam as required.
