An introduction to a digital game and reactive real-time computing system . Student will explore the benefits of using the high level object-oriented approach when developing reactive real-time game or games on silicon chip. Synchronous state machines .
Upon completion this course, student is able to design a small digital interactive game. Student understands how this game system works, response (OUTPUT) is created from stimulus (INPUT). Student is able to verify the functions of the game. We will use reprogrammable logic chip (FPGA) and Altera DE2 board to test our solution.
