After studing this course, student are able to understand basic of wind power systems. Moodle course of Moodle exams and exercises are estimated on s scale from 0 to 5.

Sisältö

The course introduces to varioius aspects wind industry, legislation, licensing and the basics of wind power through exercises.

The student is familiar with the basics of wind power technology, wind energy and power, wind recources and measurements, wind turbine structure, main components, turbine and generator types and theis operation as well as wind power energy production.
