Objectives

Competence goals:

You can define and plan evidence-based, resource-oriented and health promoting methods to implement family nursing by taking the cultural background of the clients into account. You understand sexuality, and the meaning of sexual and reproductive health in the life course of a person. You are familiar with the phases, monitoring and follow-up during pregnancy, childbirth, and the post-partum period.

You are familiar with the main principles of the growth and development of children and adolescents and the relevant control and follow-up methods. You understand the meaning of attachment and early interaction for the growth and development of a child, and how important support is for parenthood and in the everyday life of a family with children. You are familiar with the special features of children, adolescents and families who suffer from illnesses or disabilities. You know the main principles of nursing care of these groups. You can use the relevant local, distance, online, and mobile services to promote the health of these individuals and groups.
