The student learns the basic knowledge of the structure and connectors to external chips of embedded microcomputers. The student will get familiar in the functioning of a processor by using programming that is close to the device. The student is able to use either assembly- or C language in solving problems. The student understands basicly how microprocessor technology is applied in technology.

Introduction to embedded system design ( hardware and software ).

How microprocessor creates response (OUTPUT) from stimulus (INPUT).Design flow of microprocessor system . VHDL model of HW system created by automatic code generator.Parallel input ports and parallel output ports , serial port, LCD display ,Application software for processor.
