Objectives

Learning outcome:

Students are familiar with the tasks of a superior in different operating environments of the service sector and know how to take care of tasks belonging to supervisors in their field.

Material
Content
The aim of the course is to introduce to basics of daily operations management as it applies to a variety of business and organizations. Students will learn the perspective of operations management contribution to the organisation´s long-term objectives and success. Students will learn how operational decisions are made and variety of practical techniques applied in operations management. The focus will be given to the specifics of operations management in tourism sector by providing practical insight with the help of various case studies.
