Learning outcome:

Students master the financial management and basic marketing concepts as well as the legislation governing financial management. He/she knows how to utilize financial information for business decision making. He/she knows accounting principles and has a competence to establish a small business accounting, income statement and balance sheet using the electronic financial management software. Students are familiar with value-added tax, and are able to VAT taxation procedure. Students are able to evaluate the company's financial and operational performance.
The student understands the modern marketing thinking and the tasks of marketing in an enterprise, target group thinking and factors influencing consumer behavior. The students understands the role of marketing as success factor of an enterprise, and can make essential choices of marketing tools in different business situations in enterprises. He/she is able to explain the meaning of consumer protection in sales and marketing.
