Students have a command of the project cycle management (PCM) concept and logical framework approach. They recognise PCM, international project management standard as a set of tools for effective work in complex environment that is expanding internal boundaries of the company. They are able to apply these tools for project planning and execution in complex business environment. Students are able to explain knowledge-based innovation systems in the light of the dynamic interconnections between university, industry and government (Triple helix model) and public-private partnership in the Barents Euro-Arctic Region. They are able to identify various national and international funding opportunities for innovative development projects in northern and peripheral areas and are able to apply the techniques and tools of project cycle management and logical framework tools in real project work.
